2012 Prodigies for Peace Award Essay
Markus Smith, a school-based Big brother, has received the 2012 Prodigies for Peace Award in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Smith wrote an essay on the interconnectivity of King’s “symphony of brotherhood” and his role as a mentor at Big Brothers Big Sisters. His award signifies the dedication he has to his community and his Little. Read his essay here.
