We have over 118 pre-registered cars with room for a whole lot more, for our 2nd Annual Dream Builders Car Show, taking place on Sunday, August 9th at the Evergreen Speedway in Monroe.  Sponsored by Evergreen Speedway, Aerospace Machinists District Lodge 751, SPEEA, and United Tint & Custom, there will be over 40 classes for cars, trucks, bikes and tractors with over 100 awards.  Throughout the day, there will be drag racing, a burnout contest, a loudest engine contest, a raffle, live music, a food and beer garden, crafters and vendors.  Doors open at 7:00 for cars and 9:00 for spectators!  $5.00 admission fee for 18 and older.

Back to School Supply Drive

Starting August 1st and running through August 26th, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County will be holding a school supply drive for the Littles in our program.  Items can be delivered to any Snohomish County YMCA branch, or to our main office on Colby.  We have the backpacks, we just need the following supplies to go in them: notebook paper, #2 pencils, pens, markers, crayons, erasers, scissors, highlighters, rulers, glue sticks, composition books, 1" binders, and pocket folders.  For more information or to make a cash donation, e-mail Suzanne Leavitt, office manager at


Bowl for Kids' Sake is September 26 & 27, 2015

Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27th, we will be holding our annual community-wide Bowl for Kids' Sake at Glacier Lanes in Everett.  Bowl for Kids' Sake is a fun and easy way for individuals and companies to support the life changing work of Big Brothers Big Sisters.  Start thinking about being a team captain, recruiting your team of 4 additional bowlers, and doing a little fundraising - all for the Littles in our community.  All of the tools you will need including bowling times, are available on-line by going to our Bowl for Kids' Sake website HERE.
